Recycled Christmas Decors To Craft

Decors do not always have to cost much just to look “expensive”. In fact, you can even recycle to create your ornaments!

Discover below how you can recycle or DIY your Christmas holiday decorations.

Cork Wreath

What you need:

How to:

  1. Trace the round base on a sheet of paper and cut
  2. Individually position your corks onto the cut paper (this will be your guide to achieve the round form of the wreath)
  3. Alternately, hot glue the other end of the cork into the red or green bell
  4. Get another cork and hot glue the top part into the cork
  5. Then hot glue the bottom part of the cork to the other cork
  6. Repeat the process until you completed the entire round
  7. Hot glue decorative holiday pieces in the top center of the wreath
  8. Tie off a ribbon and hang

Fishbowl Snowman

How to:

  1. Fill the bottom parts of two bowls with artificial snow
  2. Place snow village pieces inside the other bowl before stacking the other one
  3. For the hat, cut the black craft foam into a circle bigger than the opening of the bowl
  4. Cut a rectangular black craft foam that will be the hat’s tube
  5. Roll the black craft foam, ends slightly must overlap then hot glue
  6. Trace and cut another black craft foam, this time it’s the size of the tube you created previously
  7. Hot glue the smaller circle of black craft foam on top of the hat
  8. Form the hat by securing the cylinder or tube to the bigger circle by using hot glue
  9. Decorate the hat with printed, plaid scrap cloth, or a ribbon
  10. Stack the bowls
  11. Place the hat on top of the smaller fishbowl

Popsicle Snowflakes

What you need:

How to:

  1. Hot glue the popsicle sticks together by forming letters  X and T
  2. Then hot glue both pairs of sticks to form a snowflake
  3. Decorate snowflakes with stickers, plastic jewels, etc.
  4. Make a small loop using the string and hot glue at the back of the stick
  5. Hang onto the Christmas tree
