Turn Your Party Cups Into Decorative Pieces!

You will be surprised how affordable and easy you can turn ordinary party cups into decorative pieces.

Spruce up your party – whether children’s party or shower, themed paper cups will not take much of your time and definitely will not cost you an arm and a leg.

Minion-Inspired

What you need:

How to:

  1. Glue googly eyes onto the yellow plastic or paper cups
  2. Stick black craft sticker around the cup as shown in the picture above
  3. Draw the mouth using a black marker
  4. Do the same for hair strands
  5. Let it dry to avoid ink smudging

Rainbow-themed

What you need:

How to:

  1. Measure pipe cleaners to form your rainbow
  2. Once measured, cut them
  3. Bend the pipe cleaners to make a bow
  4. Arrange the pipe cleaners according to the color of a rainbow
  5. Individually stick the pipe cleaners using hot glue
  6. Once all the pipe cleaners are attached, hot glue white pom poms or the clouds to both ends of the rainbow


Elmo Cups

How to:

  1. Start painting Elmo’s nose (orange paint) on the plastic cups
  2. Complete painting the nose on all the cups and let dry
  3. Once the paint is dry move to painting Elmo’s eyes (white paint)
  4. Create two overlapping circles for the eyes
  5. Finish painting eyes on all the cups and let dry
  6. Once dry, make a small black circles for Elmo’s pupil inside the eyes

Tip: paint at least a day before the event

How to:

  1. Create Mickey Mouse’s shorts by sticking two white circle dots around the middle part of the red plastic party cups
  2. Stick stickers one inch apart
  3. Repeat the process for the rest of the plastic cups

  2. Stick googly eyes unevenly or without a definite pattern
