Fall Centerpiece Ideas And How To Make Them

Harvest Centerpiece

What you need:

How to:

  1. Tie a piece of twine around the neck or top part of the jar or glass
  2. Repeat wrapping the twine around the jar or glass for three to four times
  3. Secure the twine by tying in a bow
  4. Fill the bottom of the glass or jar with about a half cup of dried split lentils or peas
  5. Follow with dried corn kernels
  6. Top with dried red kidney beans
  7. Push a candle down
  8. Light the candle before the meal starts

Tip: you may choose the order of the beans and seeds

Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece

What you need:

  • Pumpkin
  • Succulents (potted or cuttings)
  • Moss
  • Carving knife
  • Big spoon
  • Marker

How to:

  1. Use a marker to draw a circle (doesn’t have to be a perfect circle) around the stem of the pumpkin
  2. Cut the marked circle shape using a carving knife
  3. Scoop out the seeds and goop with a big spoon
  4. Place the succulents inside the pumpkin (you may directly place the potted succulent inside or mix and match succulent cuttings
  5. Add moss to fill the gaps around the pumpkin opening

Apple Candle Centerpiece

What you need:

How to:

  1. Place the tea light on top of the apple and trace the circle with a pen
  2. Cut around the circle with a knife (first, make a shallow cut then go deeper for easy cutting)
  3. Scrape out the apple enough for the tea light to fit inside
  4. Brush lemon juice on the inside of the apple to prevent from browning
  5. Press down the tea light
  6. Repeat the process to make the desired number of apple candles

Green Vegetables Candle Holder Centerpiece

What you need:

How to:

  1. Arrange the green vegetables and cut to achieve similar height
  2. Randomly stick double-sided tape diagonally to the candle, leaving out about ¼ of the top part
  3. One by one, line up the trimmed vegetables against and around the white candle
  4. Once the entire round of the candle is covered with vegetables, tie a ribbon around
  5. Secure the ribbon by tying in a knot and a bow
