Tassel Garland

Materials:

Steps:

  1. Fold tissue paper in half lengthwise then crosswise until the desired length
  2. Cut fringe from the bottom of the unfolded side up to the top leaving about two inches uncut
  3. Unfold the paper and divide it into four equal parts
  4. Start rolling each paper from the uncut part
  5. Once rolled, tighten by twisting the paper
  6. Fold it in half and make a loop by twisting the side in opposite directions
  7. Secure the loop with tape
  8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 to reach your desired number of tassels
  9. The spacing between each tassel is up to you
  10. Insert the string to the loops for hanging

Splatter Paint Popsicle Sticks Table Runner

Steps:

  1. Arrange popsicle sticks on your table to determine the desired length of the table runner
  2. Line them up unevenly for design
  3. Use blue painter’s tape to hold the popsicle sticks in place
  4. Lay flat paper bags to cover your floor where you ar going to do your painting
  5. In a plastic container, mix acrylic paint with a water for a runny consistency
  6. Dip paint brush and splatter paint onto the popsicle stick arrangement
  7. Let it dry before use

Paper Pom Poms

Steps:

  1. Stack 8 sheets of 20×30 tissue paper
  2. Make 1.5 inch-wide accordion folds
  3. Cut the edges to form round ends
  4. Fold a floral wire in half , twist it in the center of the folded tissue
  5. Unfold and separate layers
  6. Pull each layer towards the center   
  7. Secure both ends with tape
  8. Insert the string inside the floral wire for hanging

Confetti-filled Balloons

  1. Make your own confetti by cutting paper or metallic wrapper into small pieces
  2. Insert confetti into a balloon using a funnel
  3. Inflate your balloon and make a simple knot to tie your balloon
  4. Tie your ribbon


Fabric Bunting

  1. Make a triangle template using paper, ruler, pencil, scissors
  2. Add 0.5 cm allowance on all sides
  3. Pin the template to the fabric
  4. Cut two triangles for each triangle
  5. Pin two triangles wrong sides facing each other
  6. Sew sides except the top part
  7. Turn inside out
  8. Iron
  9. Pin the flags to the double fold bias tape
  10. Sew

Mustache Straws

  1. Print out a mustache template you found online
  2. Trace the mustache template onto your card stock
  3. Cut out
  4. Punch a hole in the center
  5. Insert the mustache onto the bendy straws

Sparkly Cake Topper

  1. Form the pipe cleaners into whatever shape you like
  2. Leave enough space on the bottom
  3. Cut the straw to the same length of the bottom part of the pipe cleaner
  4. Insert the pipe cleaner to the straw
  5. Cut the wooden skewer about 2.5 inches
  6. Insert the skewer’s pointed edge to the straw
  7. Push the topper down into your cake
